ASP were formed in 1999 by Alexander Frank Spreng (aka "Asp") and Matthias Ambré (aka "Matze"), producing their first 3-track demo CD later that year.

After several groups or solo experiences in the past, Vincent PUJOL (aka Vince, 34) created his new solo project "Electro Synthetic Rebellion" in 1997. In the early years (80's), bands such as FLA, Skinny Puppy, F242 or Klinik were an influence on Vince's compositions. Elane is a gothic / dark folk band from Germany fronted by vocalist Joran Elane with occasional backing male vocals. Since the formation in 2001 the band grew from a solo project to a band with 5 members. The first to join was Skaldir who joined Joran in 2001 and was in the band for two years.
